Qatar Affirms Continued Support for Legitimate Demands of Palestinians and Arabs in Occupied Territories

New York – Information Office - November 16 The State of Qatar has affirmed that it will continue to support the legitimate demands of the Palestinian and brethren Arab in the occupied territories to enjoy all their inalienable rights. International legal, stressing that the decision of the Israeli authorities to impose their laws, jurisdiction and administration on the occupied Syrian Arab Golan is null and void and has no international legal effect. Qatar expressed its rejection of illegal practices in the Golan, which violated international law and Security Council resolutions, in particular resolution 497 and General Assembly resolutions, the latest of which was resolution 73/100. Qatar Pledges USD 63 Million to UN in 2020

New York, November 14 (QNA) - The State of Qatar has pledged USD 62.780 million in voluntary contributions to core resources of a number of United Nations (UN) agencies, departments and programs in 2020, emphasising that the State attaches the utmost importance to strengthening its partnership with the UN system in order to meet common global challenges. Qatar Reiterates Support for Development Efforts for Least Developed Countries

New York, November 14 (QNA) - The State of Qatar reiterated its commitment to supporting development efforts for the Least Developed Countries (LDCs) and assisting them in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Qatar, Democratic Republic of Congo Establish Diplomatic Relations

Qatar Renews Commitment to Continue Efforts to Promote and Protect Human Rights

New York, November 01 (QNA) - The State of Qatar renewed its commitment to continue its efforts to promote and protect human rights, affirming its continued commitment to actively contribute to the efforts of the Human Rights Council to improve standards of respect for human rights, and to address and respond promptly to cases of human rights violations, especially with regard to strengthening accountability for human rights violations and putting an end to impunity.
