Qatar Affirms Keenness to Strengthen International Partnerships through International Cooperation and Multilateral Action

The State of Qatar affirmed its commitment to strengthening its international partnerships within the framework of international cooperation and multilateral action, and to support the efforts of developing countries in implementing and achieving the 2030 Agenda of the Sustainable Development Goals. This is achieved by directing partnerships with UN agencies to provide development and humanitarian assistance to countries facing development challenges and disasters beyond their capabilities, in addition to partnerships with the UN to implement the outcomes of the Doha Programme of Action for the Least Developed Countries (2022-2031).

The State of Qatar has reaffirmed its strong commitment to combating terrorism and violent extremism, expressing readiness to continue close cooperation with the United Nations and international and regional partners in a way that contributes to promoting international peace and security and fostering a safer and more stable global environment.





Qatar Regrets UN Security Council's Failure to Adopt Draft Resolution Ending Humanitarian Catastrophe in Gaza

The State of Qatar expressed its regret over the UN Security Council's failure to adopt a draft resolution aimed at ending the catastrophic humanitarian suffering of civilians in the Gaza Strip due to the ongoing Israeli aggression, and calling for an immediate and unconditional ceasefire by all parties, as well as the immediate release of all hostages, detainees, and Palestinian prisoners.



Qatar Delivers Message to UN Secretary-General, Security Council on Israeli Attack on Doha

The State of Qatar delivered on Wednesday a message to HE the Secretary-General of the United Nations Antonio Guterres and to HE Sangjin Kim, the Charge d'Affaires at the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Korea to the United Nations and President of the Security Council for September, regarding the cowardly Israeli attack that targeted residential buildings housing several members of the Hamas Political Bureau in the capital, Doha.

The State of Qatar affirmed, in a statement delivered on behalf of the Arab Group at the United Nations, affirmed that Syria security and stability are an integral part of Arab and regional security. It stressed that preserving Syria unity and national institutions is the real guarantee to prevent regional destabilization, combat terrorism in all its forms and manifestations, and block the return of terrorist groups.
