Qatar Highlights Challenges Posed by Armed Conflicts, Natural Disasters Before UN Security Council

New York, September 16 (QNA) - The State of Qatar highlighted the various, mounting, and unprecedented challenges facing the world, arising from armed conflicts and natural disasters such as climate change, earthquakes, floods, and Corona virus which spawn full dimensional catastrophic humanitarian crises in various world territories, pointing to the tremendous amount of humanitarian needs the international community must respond to.




Qatar's Permanent Representative to UN Meets UNODC Executive Director

New York, July 04 (QNA) - HE Permanent Representative of the State of Qatar to the United Nations Sheikha Alya bint Ahmed bin Saif Al-Thani met with HE Executive Director of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) Ghada Fathi Waly, on the sidelines of the United Nations Third Counter-Terrorism Week (CT Week), in New York.
