The State of Qatar reaffirmed its commitment to support the International, Impartial and Independent Mechanism (IIIM) to assist in the investigation and prosecution of those responsible for the most serious crimes committed in Syria since March 2011.

The State of Qatar chaired the annual ministerial meeting of the Group of Friends on Gender Parity, organized by the Permanent Delegation of the State of Qatar to the United Nations in partnership with the Permanent Delegation of the Republic of Rwanda. The meeting took place on the margin of the 69th session of the UN Commission on the Status of Women.
